Amit joined the business as the first Design/Project Engineer of the newly established HVAC Contracting department, more than 25 years ago. He passionately enjoys the workplace and its uniquely local kiwi work culture, the friendliness and warmth of the workplace are his major motivations in retaining energy and focus. Amit is a registered engineer and a qualified Greenstar Accredited Professional. Apart from people management and leadership, he has competence and much experience in the design of HVAC system for diverse commercial vertical markets and applications. Since taking over as the manager of the HVAC contracting department in 2004, the HVAC business has grown from strength to strength under Amit’s stewardship. He leads an equally committed and passionate team whose collective effort has seen the HVAC business become a significant part of the NZ operation.
