Lance has 29 years’ experience within the air conditioning and refrigeration industry and has held key roles within McAlpine Hussmann for over 23 years. As a service and installation engineer and supervisor, Lance gained 11 years’ experience in the installation, commissioning, diagnosis and maintenance of a wide range of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment, including both McAlpine Hussmann and a range of other brands. Lance has spent the past 18 years in progressively senior management roles, including branch, service and presently national service management. His thorough knowledge of our industry is founded in both operational disciplines and substantial management roles Lance is the main driver of our Apprentice programme. With a key focus and dedication on building skills within our industry and within McAlpine Hussmann’s service, maintenance and installation teams, Lance has developed an impressive apprentice development programme. He manages the on-job training aspects, as well as quarterly assessments against progress. Importantly, Lance takes a key role in assessment and administration of NZQA Unit Standards for our Apprentice team.
